The Nigerian government has come under fire for its handling of the electricity sector, with many criticizing them for failing to hold IBEDC accountable for its incompetence.

Expressing his frustration with the distribution company, a resident of Monatan area of Ibadan, Mr. Wale Owoade, said he had spent over two years in his rented apartment but had not used up to N10,000 worth of electricity.
Also pouring out her mind, founder of Ibadan Entrepreneur Network, Dr. Oyenike Adeleke, lamented that the poor power supply had damaged many of her home appliances.
As the country continues to struggle with the lack of reliable electricity, many are calling for urgent action to be taken.
The government must hold IBEDC accountable for its incompetence and work to provide reliable electricity to all Nigerians.
