Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill of over ₦684 billion into law.
Makinde, while signing the bill at the Governor’s Executive Chamber, Secretariat in Ibadan, the state capital, commended the legislators for the accelerated approval.
Governor Makinde, who used the moment to appreciate the labour leaders for their cooperation, assured the state civil servants that their 13th salary will paid on or before 31st of this month.
Earlier, Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, said the House before arriving at the final amount, diligently interfaced with all the ministries, departments and agencies of the state government.
The Oyo State House of Assembly had last Wednesday approved an upward review of the state’s 2025 proposed budget from ₦678 billion to ₦684 billion.
