Aláàfin of Ọ̀yọ́, Ọba Abímbọ́lá Òwọ́adé, has revealed that one of his agenda is to make sure that graduate youths seeking jobs are taken away from the streets.
He also said he would create vocational skills for the youths.
In a statement by the Director of Media and Publicity to the Aláàfin, Bọ̀dé Dúrọ́jaiyé, the monarch assured that he would make sure some graduates with Bsc or HND are helped with cyber security knowledge to checkmate seeking greener pastures abroad.
According to the statement, Aláàfin Ọwọ́adé, would continue from where his predecessor, late Ọba Lamidi Adéyẹmí, stopped, towards promoting culture and improve on Sàngó and Ọ̀rànmíyàn festivals.
The new Aláàfin, added that widows and widowers would be empowered to improve their socio economic lives.
The statement reads in part: “What is more, development of health facilities has been the new Aláàfin’s priority and he wants to be remembered for it during his reign.
“Aláàfin Ọwọ́adé, had negotiated with international organisations and they have agreed to support him to develop his kingdom.
“Ọba Ọwọ́adé would also make sure the artefacts taken away by British in 1895 are brought back”
