Renowned journalist, Olawale Ogunbusola, has announced his resignation from Prince 89.7FM Ibadan, effective immediately.
In a statement personally signed on Tuesday, Ogunbusola cited the need for self-development and global reckoning as the reason for his departure.
During his two and a half years at the radio station, Ogunbusola served as State House Correspondent and Presenter, making significant contributions to the station’s success.

He expressed gratitude to the management and staff, particularly Dr. Babatunde Balogun Oruomeniowo and Pastor Adewale Adeiwa, for their support and flexible leadership.
”I appreciate the staff and management for their warmth and cooperation,” Ogunbusola said. “I will never take this for granted”
Ogunbusola’s resignation has been met with appreciation from the management of Prince FM, who praised his dedication and service delivery.
”Thanks for your dedication! Wishing you success and growth in your future endeavors. Appreciate your service! Best of Luck!” the management stated.
The award-winning journalist has worked with several Ibadan-based media houses, including Topadis TV/Iroyin Agbaye News, Agidigbo 88.7FM, IBR 92.5FM, and King 103.9FM. He has also explored various West African countries, including the Republic of Benin, Togo, and Ghana.
Ogunbusola thanked his family, friends, fans, and audience for their continued support and trust, promising renewed delivery across the world’s media space in the coming days.
