The Oyo State House of Assembly has passed a vote of confidence in Governor Seyi Makinde and Speaker of the House, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin.
The resolution was made during plenary presided over by Speaker Ogundoyin.
Speaking on behalf of the lawmakers, House Leader Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, Deputy Speaker Hon. Mohammed Fadeyi and Chief whip, Hon. Gbenga Oyekola, dismissed rumors of an impeachment plot in the state, urging residents to disregard the speculation.
The House’s reaction follows recent rumors circulating about the alleged impeachment of Governor Makinde and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja.
