Joint security forces have successfully rescued six members of the media crew who were abducted along Isseke-Orlu Road in Ihiala while travelling from Lagos to Uyo.
According to a press release by Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.
The statement further revealed that operations are still ongoing for the possible rescuse of other seventh crew member.
It also assured family, friends and colleagues and the public that further development shall be communicated later.
Reports had it that a Toyota coaster bus with journalists going to uyo to cover a national match was kidnapped in Orlu Imo State.
Adding that a police escort on board was killed while over 11 people were kidnapped.
